Description
Duties and Responsibilities:
Will offer support in the analysis and design of existing application (Core Banking) based enterprise data
warehousing and business intelligence solution. Candidate will be responsible for the collection and analysis
of business requirements and the translation of these requirements into a comprehensive and cohesive
business intelligence design. Candidate must have strong analysis and communications skills. Other
responsibilities include:
- Work with a diverse client base to understand existing reporting capabilities and needs
- Lead business intelligence design and analysis sessions and activities
- Align solution design to optimally conform to reporting artifacts and capabilities delivered
- Coordinate communications with the development team to support the design and development of the
data warehouse and business intelligence solution - Support preparation of required documentation, as required by the customer
- Coordinate and support development and execution of test plan and test scripts to ensure the solution
meets the requirements - Support user acceptance testing activities, including issue identification and resolution so that tasks are
completed in a timely manner - Mentor and train staff by sharing best practices and lessons learned from past implementation efforts.
- Candidate might identify process improvement opportunities
Required Qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience with business intelligence design and implementation
- Demonstrated experience implementing solutions based upon Cognos, Data Mining, Oracle Business
Analytics packages - Prior experience with a high volume data warehouse solution integrating multiple complex sources of data
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
Desired Qualifications:
- 3+ years of Federal consulting experience is strongly desired
- Experience with Oracle Financial Analytics is desired
- Strong domain knowledge of at least one of these functional domains – Financial Management,
Acquisitions, Asset Management is desired - Banking experience
